Imagery: The Californian's Tale

1. The scene that stand out in my reading is when the people in town be unite together to help to make party for Henry. It’s show that everyone in this town are get along together.

2. The scene that make me frightened is when I knew that Henry’s wife has been died nineteen years already. The moment when I’m angry is the moment when everyone is try to cover the truth about Henry’s wife, because if they continue do this Henry will never can accept the truth.

3. The moment when his friends made a party for Henry, and he’s drunk, then he slept.  I can smell the alcohol, I also can feel when the poor people drunk together. The author want us to feel how the people in the small town live, how they are live different from us.

4. I can understand the whole story, and it’s really fun for me. I’m pretty frightened with the rising action when I knew that Henry’s wife has been died for nineteen years, and  Henry has a unstable mind. This story is also different from other stories because almost every stories will have a happy ending, but this story has ended very sad. I think that I will never forget this story.
